best nano heater?

Looking for a heater that's small but dependable.

I've tried a lot and keep on going back to Jäger glass heaters, one of the few that's never failed me.

I still recommend a controller if you can, since all heaters have thermostat drift and high hysteresis

+1 on neo therm. I bought 3 heaters for my QT tank. One from pet smart and 2 different hydor heaters and all have failed pretty quickly. The neo therm on my main tank hasn't failed once. Keeps my temp at 78.6 degrees consistently throughout the day. Had it for a year now. Spend the extra money and get one. Well worth it.

Isn't that just the 200 watt verison?

I have a nice Eheim heater that works great for heating my mix station for the winter, it never shuts off.LOL

Like you said all heaters go bad and even controllers go bad with a heater attached to them.

I also like my Finnex 25 watt little titanium heater.

The problem with small heaters is the large cord that makes placement difficult in a nano. Unless of course you have a AIO.
