best nano tank

I'm looking to purchase a 20-30 gallon nano tank for my peacock mantis. Is any particular brand better than the other. I plan on only keeping the mantis along with some corals. Oceanic Bio-cube seems to be the most popular, but I'm not sure. Aquapod also seems to be popular. Which is the best overall tank to have?

Couldn't say one way or another, but don't go with MH lighting option. It has been known to contribute to potentially fatal shell disease. That said just from looking at it the aquapod 24 seems a good value for the price.

I have an aquapod 24 gallon and it is great for the price. It has decent lighting; enough to keep color and growth good in zoas, mushrooms, hammers, and corals along those lines. It is also safe to get to the filtration even with a mantis shrimp since it is behind a false wall.

If you want one of the best on the market go with the Red Sea Max... Even comes with a protien skimmer, just in case you move onto a little more varity....

Personally i like the finnex M-tanks. I like the way they have the back compartment setup much better than any of the other nanos.

I just found out that the same company produces the many of the nano tanks. Has anyone heard this before. Also, does anyone recommend adding a protein skimmer...and if so what brand? (I will have to look at the Red Sea Max).

They are made by different companies for sure.... Oceanic, JBJ,

and so on. I would add a protein skimmer, and yes the red sea

and a few others do come with skimmers, but many times they

need to be replaced because of their poor quality.
