Actinics are dimmer and more purple/violet, while the blues are brighter and bluer. You'll get more fluorescence out of your corals with an actinic bulb, but you might like the color of blues mores. Personally, I like actinics better with the 14k bulbs because you already have lots of that blue color from the halide. The actinics make your corals stand out more in my opinion. Neither bulb will do much for your corals, but it will do a lot for the way your corals look to you.
