Where is the best place to buy lights? Im looking to get some ATI T5 bulbs.

I think there is an annual sale at custom or premier aquatics where all bulbs are crazy cheap. I didn't have the money but it was clearly the best time of the year to stock up

looked at custom aquatics and they have some but a brand i have never heard of but nice prices. Im looking at hello lights as we speak. Is a combo of 50/50s and the ATI super blues a good combo?? With out having to buy MHs right now will this get the coral goin crazy??

What length? I have a brand new 36" 75/25 UVL aquablue. How many bulbs do you need? I would say that for a clean, crisp white/blue, you should go for half ATI blue plus and half ATI aquablue specials. The aquablue specials are really white and the blue plus are really blue. If you have a six bulb, I would go with three blue plus, two aqua blue specials and one of the UVL bulbs like I have, the aquablue 75/25. Its a bit pink, but puts off tons of light and makes the reds and oranges pop with some actinic glow. Lay off the UVL bulb if you only have a 4 bulb fixture like mine. I bought it but replaced it with another blue. Tank looks ten times better since you were here.

Dang. Could have sold it to you cheaper than new. I got mine from reefgeek.com. Pretty sure they have the best prices. well, they do on 36" bulbs.

+1 for Hello Lights,

I bought 2 of there 2X54w T-5 retrofit kits. Price was great and shipping was fast. They packaged it up pretty good also, the delivery man left them on my porch and it looked like he used one of the boxes as a wheel chock( it was really messed up) but all the bulbs and reflectors were intact.

Really easy to install and wire.

For ATI bulbs ReefGeek. Great store thats where I buy my ATI T5s from. Pretty much the same price or cheaper then anyone else.

I ended up just buying MHs, I know big difference. I just got a good deal on them.
