Best place to order Zoa's online...

Anyone got any good recommendations?

I have been to the LFS here in the area and they all seem to have the same types and all insanely expensive...

I want to add some to my tank (175 bowfront) but don't want to spend a fortune either...

Thanks.

keep in mind although the prices at your LFS are higher than what you see online, you have to take into consideration the cost of shipping. Unless you are buying several frags at once this can become significantly more expensive than an LFS's mark up. I wouldn't judge the LFS's on price, but on how well maintained their systems/frags are and what is available.

There are many reputible online retailers, but you need to be prepared to pay high shipping rates. You'll want to have your zoas shipped priority overnight, and at a minimum you'll be looking at roughly $30 for shipping costs. There are several sites that offer free shipping on orders over a certain amount - usually about $200.

As Grandis suggested, I'm learning that local reef clubs are a valuable resource for buying and trading frags, online purchasing is another viable option for adding diversity to your collection.

I have ordered from Uniquecorals.com they are really great and reputable online vendors. They charge $7.00 for shipping for zoas and give 14 day gaurantee too. Look into it, you wont be disappointed.

Check the for sale forum here. I have found a lot of good deals right here. Again, as everyone else has said the shipping is what is going to cost you. I guess it's all relative, as I don't know what you consider "real expensive". My GF and I don't always see eye to eye on that aspect. Usually, anything over $5 is real expensive to her and I'm a little more flexible, and think that anything less than $500 is a steal if I really want it.
