Best saltwater store in Miami ??

petco man just go to petco lol........ jk theres a solid strip of stores on bird road not sure of the names, I just know were they are. Maybe someone can chime in. Theres enough to look at all those stores for you to find something.
 
I have gone to aquirium kingdom this past couple of times prices are a little high ( higher than the clouds) but the selection are good and look healthy.
 
Try Strictly Fish, Reefbox, Ocean View - all on bird road and within a couple miles of each other. Ditto on Aquarium Kingdom, prices are higher but they do have a decent selection. I'd checkout Perfect Corals as well, no storefront but he does sell reasonably priced stuff from his house.

Is perfect corals owner a guy called alex lives in kendal? If so yes he's a good vendor as well+2

That's correct, Alex. He's right in front of Miami Dade Kendall Campus. Very nice guy and very reasonably priced, sells colony sized pieces as well
 
Oh wow...perfect corals...wish i knew the guy. If he doesnt have a brick and mortar store how can we get in contact with him?
 
Aquarium Kingdom is awesome as well. They've given me free egg crate, given me fair store credit on basic frags I've grown, have incredible fish, $40 clams, all sorts of inverts, and even some higher end SPS.

I visited 4 LFS today in Broward... wish I could turn back time, and saved my time...

Are there any good ones in Broward...?

Nicest shop I visited today, by far, was Hydra Aquatics... the 3 others seemed run down, gloomy, and messy... did not make me feel like bringing out the wallet, at all (Aquatic Jewels, Eco Reef Results, and Reef Life Aquatics)... Any of the stores on Bird Road (Strictly Fish, Reefbox, Exotic, or Ocean View) are way nicer... Aquarium Kingdom in Palmetto Bay has the most coral, by far... Exotic has the most fish... Ocean View is the prettiest... Strictly has nice higher end pieces... and Reefbox is coming along...

As a Broward resident, I agree with you. The stores here are disappointing. I don't buy from stores here unless I'm in a bind. Even Hydra aquatics is just ok. The other places you mentioned, you are spot on. Old, not well kept, dead fish in tanks, just in business for the sake of being in business.

I've heard EliteMarine is supposed to be good though, I've gotta go check them out and I need to make a trip to visit the Bird Road stores everyone raves about.

I make frequent trips to Orlando to visit family, they have much nicer stores up there. Living Reef Orlando, Top Shelf, World Wide Corals, Reefer's Direct....I end buying most of my fish/coral up there.

Let me know if it's worth a trip... I refuse to go into anymore Broward stores unless someone vouches for them...
