best sand to use

ok so im going to put a sand bed in my 75g what is the best kind of sand to use i would like to use some live sand and some other type of sand looking to go with about 2-3 in depth

I am not sure if it is still around, but Southdown was a highly sought after brand for a few years.

were is a good place to look i dont have a home depot i have a menards and lowes

Caribsea products are great imo. I would skip on the live stuff and seed your sandbed with a cup or 2 of sand from a fellow reefer's established tank.

ya thats what i planed on doing the tank has bee up for 9 months and has cc in it now and i have a 30g with live sand so i can add some of it

im using caribsea, i can find any of the cheaper alternatives (southdown) anywhere around me.
