Best Shrimp

What is the best shrimp to have in my 12 gal AquaPod? I was thinking peppermint but I heard of people having them eat their featherdusters. I was also thinking a skunk cleaner but some people say that they eat their snails and I like my snails.

Shrimp are omnivores and will eat avariety of things, just because one ate something doesnt necessarily mean another will eat it too. Keeping the shrimp well fed will help to keep it away from things you may consider desireable, but there is no guarantee.

IMO skunk cleaner shrimp has been the best. When they set up their cleaning station and start cleaning fish, it's great. They keep the parasites off of fish and they also clean up extra food. Peppermint's have been good to me too, they do an amazing job on aptasia, but ate my yellow polyps. But like graveyardworm said, doesn't mean they'll eat yours.

I've never had a skunk eat a snail. My favorite are the blood/fire shrimp
