What in your regarded opinions, is the best skimmer for a 90 mixed reef setup with refugium? Currently I have a CoralLife SS 125 I've modified to run outside the fuge - pump mounted in 1st stage, return hose dumping back into 1st stage.

I use an AquaC EV120. I have mine in sump but it can also be used out of the sump. I feed mine with a MAG5. I also have a fuge and my tank is most SPS dominated.
Works pretty well for me. Actually I consider it one of the best things I purchased for my tank LOL.

I've used a ReefLife VS2-24 that I just sold, and for a 90 it would be great, as it was very sucessful on my 120, and now I've got a ER, so I would suggest to anyone the ER as it's been pulling out the thickest narstiest muckiest skimmate known to man. Ever seen that pic of the guy's finger with the mound of skimmate on it? That's what I pull out of the neck of my ER after 1 week.
Which model ER do you have, and remember it needs to be mountable outside the sump. So far the AquaC EV120 looks about right for performance and price. Anyone using the Precision Marine Bullet 1?
