Best temp for fish/reef tank

I've notice my corals and fish look happier when I keep it around 77-79. I wanna say the biggest issue isn't the ideal temp itself but the fluctuations. If you keep it under control withing a couple of degrees always should not be an issue. You must also a have to take into account that not all fish or corals like the same temp. Now take what I sai for what it is. I'm very new to the hobby. I just find myself with a lot of free time and doing a lot of reading. Lol.

Agreed. Depends on the fish you are keeping.

Unless you have a fish with specific needs, most will adapt To 77-80 range. Try to keep the temp stable, not more than a degree swing during the day if possible. Generally, corals are more tolareant to warmer temps than fish.
