Best way for me to hide or get rid of the old coralline alage on the backplate?

Purchased a great used Red Sea max 250. Everything is good except the coralline algae leftovers at the skimmers. I've razor blade as much as possible. That is what remains. Beside aquascaping to cover it up, anything else I can do to get rid of this?
