Best way to clean outside of tank...

The outside of my tank is getting a bit... well... hard to see through... I guess it's all the times I've splashed water down the sides and such.

So, I know that everyone says "Don't spray windex on it!" So I'm not doing that. I tried just a paper towel with clean water, but I wasn't happy with the results.

Ok... what do you guys use to clean the outsides of your tank?

I use windex out of the spary bottle. I have a covered top and make sure I cover where it might get through any cracks. Never had a problem.

i use Brillianize by Kleenmaster... it is schweet.. it leave a film that keeps smudges, fingerprints and dust off the glass and acrylic...

the safest and most effective way is a soaked rag and a squeege. do a once over completley wet the outside. then squeege it off. quick safe and effective

is it glass or acrylic if acrylic I use mcguires #17 and # 18 cleaner and polish they are for airplane windshields, and availible at any auto store. Glass windex is ok just spray away from tank on a towel then wipe glass, or a windex wipe.

I use vinigar/water or acid/water Works as well as anything, as cheap as anything, no ammonias involved, and something that most of us have around anyway. A spray bottle from Wal-mart or a hardware store for a coupla bucks and your set
