best way to cover tank?

This coming weekend, I'm going to be fogging for fleas. Its gotten to be at a point I NEED to fog my house.

I'm assuming saran wrap and duct tape will work, on both the sump and the tank, right?

And, does anyone know off hand (I don't have the canisters yet) how long you need to be out of the house for? I'll have to get the birds somewhere other than here for the duration. AND my house is gonna get COLD when we air it out. But... it needs to be done! Even if I don't fog, I'll be spraying, so same concept...

Its just saran wrap and duct tape though, right?

MOst Fogging chemicals will saturate through stuff and will go through duct tape.your best bet is if you can to break it down and move it out to a different room if it is small enough. Or if not get some large sheets of plastic and tarp over your tankand then seal the duct tape to the floor.

Get some shrink wrap they use in industry to wrap palletts . then cut it off with knife when done could wrap whole house with one roll.

kay, its a 75 gallon...

I'm going with a spray instead of a fogger, We can't handle opening all the windows when it is below 0 this weekend here in MN. That way, I can avoid it as much as possible, and cover it well somehow else. (I may still use the tarp idea though!

thanks though!
