Best way to Frag a Poker Star Montipora?

I just use a simple Razor to cut off the excess growth on my Montipora Frag Plugs and then glue that small piece to another frag plug.

Is there a better way to Frag a Poker Star type Montipora or is that what you guys do as well?

Do you wait until you have a certain amount of growth too?

I don't know if letting it grow more before fragging would help the new frag grow faster or not?

I am just looking for tips on fragging encrusting montipora like Poker Star, Superman, Sunset, Ranbow, etc.

If the frag is out of the tank, a hammer and flat head screw driver works well and or a large snips.

When I had frags I just cut or broke off the part I wanted to frag.
