Bicolor Angelfish

Hello all. I have read numerous threads on many different sites about keeping the Bicolor Angelfish in a 30 gallon tank provided it is the sole occupant of the tank. My research tells me that this fish can reach a size of approximately 6". I am wondering how this fish can be successfully kept in a tank this size. Does anyone have any experience with this fish being kept in this size tank? I have never kept this fish so I am not familiar with it's requirements. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Thanks for the response! A fellow hobbyist who is new to reef keeping has found one in her LFS that is approx. one and one half inches in length and is convinced she must have it for her tank. I have told her it is not a good choice for her tank even if it is housed by itself based on what I have researched. I have kept a few dwarf angels over the years( a potter's, coral beauty, and a cherub) but have no experience with this one.

I enjoy my cherub but the bicolor is way prettier.

How bout a 40 gallon breeder. ?

They will be on sale at Petco for $1 gallon in a few weeks.
And the equipment won't cost anymore for the bigger tank.
