Big Torch Lost a Head

I picked up a large 3 head purple with green tips torch about a month ago. Was in a temp tank for a week, and has been in my new tank for a few weeks. I lost a head on it over the last couple days.

It happened so fast I don't know what to do. Will it recover? Should I frag it off the others? Here is it a week ago or so. I hope I'm jumping the gun and it will recover. I have not see any Brown jelly or pests.

best bet is to pay close attention to it. It could be a pest or something else or it could just be bad luck. If there is decaying tissue left, I normally chop it off and get it out. It could regrow, but I have seen it spread to other heads as well. Be very careful when handling these guys as I have found most of the time there is some sort of trauma that causes this.

I'll keep my fingers crossed its just one head - many times its just a fluke and the rest will be fine!
