Any thoughts on Steve's leds? Thinking about getting a fixture just wondering if anyone has them or has experience with them...thanks Lance

Made the leap about a year ago. Absolutely love it.
I don't have SPS, but LPS and softies love it. Almost immediate increase in growth, across the board.
Had a clam that was doing well for several months (it was still small, so not totally light dependent yet), but I left for a week and had some water quality issues and it died. I don't attribute that to the light at all.
Standard controller is fine, unless you "need" WiFi.
Install was a breeze.

What did you set your lights to? Mine seem very pink so I'm not sure what the blues and white should be. Thanks

You have to ramp up per the directions or you'll burn down the reef!
I ended up at 2065 on channel 1 and 2275 on channel 2.

I had Steve's LED's over my biocube and Red Sea 250. Lost both tanks in the 7.1 earthquake Nov 31st. Power was out for 3 days.

But, his stuff is quality. You won't go wrong with it.

I gutted my BioCube 29 lid, and used parts off my Maxspect Razor I wasn't using. It was a fun little project! Although I wish I had put 2 LED modules in. Blue Acro has some nice LEDs too.

I removed the lid and put on an AI Prime and everything seems to be really happy. Really cut the heat down too. Since I live in the desert that's a big deal for me.
