Bio Pellets and skimmer

Hey guys

Looking at running bio pellets, but can really plumb it up to my skimmer.
Is this necessary? Or can i run the reactor without it being plumber directly to my skimmer.

Any info on this would be great.

At a minimum you'll want to have the effluent of the reactor near the volute of the skimmer pump.

From my experience get a recirculating reactor for biopellets. It's best if the skimmer is also recirculating.

You really do want the reactor output to be near or in the same chamber as the protein skimmer so it can pull the waste film out effectively.
