Bio-pellets

Anyone running bio-pellets with success (phosphate & nitrate removal)?

I just installed a BRS one, but am curious to other peoples success.

NextReef MR1 Monster Media Reactor. I have each chamber filled with 1 liter of Two Little Fishies NPX Bioplastics. I started only 1 reactor for 2 weeks and had mild slim growth. When I started the second reactor last week, the slim growth quadrupled. I have the reactor outlet discharging into the skimmer intake and loads of green/black crap is being removed.

i use the vertex biopellets their a bit more expensive than the rest out there but i personally think they work great ive been using them for around 1 1/2-2 years...algae growth is kept to a minimum until 4-5 months comes around when they need to be changed
