BioCube 14 and Aqua C Remora???

I current have a BioCube 14 and had to downsize from a 60g, when I moved to NYC. The BioCube's skimmer is just about worthless. I have tried dialing it in and have yielded very limited results (and I dealt with an Aqua C EV-120 in the past!). Anyway, I also used an Aqua C Remora Pro in the past and was very pleased with its production. easy plug and play!!!

I am considering purchasing an Aqua C Remora and cutting a hole in the top of biocube's cover to fit it inside. Am I crazy to do this? (i do 30-40% WC every 7-10 days)

the tank is full with corals and fish so it would be an 'interesting' procedure.....

That's what I use. Just used a dremmel and modified the hood so the lid closes with the skimmer in place.
