Biocube 16 - Dosing, blooms, cyano.

So after many years in the hobby, from big tank to now small again I bought a Biocube 16 shortly after they were released due to LFS deals I couldnt pass up. Anyway I had been super lazy until my baby was born a few months ago now and decided I wanted to get my **** together. I had been running a Tunze skimmer in the second chamber and that is basically it. Slowly but surly the tank started to look like ****, coral dies, algae so on... I bought a new test kit since my old kits were expired. Tested and everything was looking fine, within params. Must be phosphates. Algae continued to get bad and in the past I had great luck with vodka. I start vodka dosing and water changes weekly sometimes twice a week. BOOM cyano outbreaks, ****... I do a bit of digging and read about how the LEDs in the new biocubes put off some light in unwanted spectrum. Awesome perfect excuse to get a kessil A80. I also decide to stop vodka dosing because that can cause it as well. I have started to do water changes every other day. 30% changes. All algae and cyano is gone in the morning and by mid day covered again. Assuming it dies off overnight and comes back when lights come on. I also now have cloudy water now too. I moved the skimmer out of the second chamber and installed a media basket with Carbon and Chemipure(stuff has done well for me in the past). Suggestions on other things to try to get a head of this cyano/algae problem or is it just a waiting game now? I have chemiclean on hand from use in the past but not sure I should use it as it causes damage to good bacteria. Thanks guys.
