I have a 29g biocube but no stand... my question is, if i cut out a 30x30 square out of 3/4" plywood and out underneath it can i set the tank on a 55 gal stand? I really need to get this tank started but i dont have a stand. Any input is greatly appreciated!
It might work, however over time I could see a good possibility of the plywood warping (due to both moisture and lack of support on the overhang). This would allow pressure points to form under the tank and cause a blow-out.
