It's normal for corals to change color in different environments / tanks.
IMO it looks even better than it did!!
LMK when you want to frag it... I'd like a small bit ;)

i am pretty new at this hobby. I dont have fragging tools. I will gladly give you a peice if you bring your tools and frag it yourself.

The two pictures made me look at them a couple of times,

The first picture I thought looked like the Tubs Purple polyp Birdsnest that does turn green in lower light.

Seen at the bottom here:

Then looking at the polyps, noticed they are not right. Looking at that picture, I thought it would be a wild pink one perhaps.....

Looking at the second one, it looks like the Tubs or ORA electric green piece. I had this one and it had the same brown/tan body which reminded me of it. The polyps have even the same green tinge in the picture.

However, knowing where you got it from helps as well to narrow these things down to be certain, especially when trying to sell collectible pieces.

Good job on coloring it up, give you a good sense of accomplishment doesn't it........one of my favority things to do is color up a brownie to a sweet looking piece.

It may in fact be a little on the starved side.....but can't tell for certain in pictures........easy to fix though. Is it growing fast for you? What are you feeding?

it's going pretty fast I think. The two pictures were taken about 2 months apart. I am only feeding my corals with reef chili.

Yeah that was a dumb question and realized it after I asked......gee does it grow fast? Look at the two pictures taken two months apart and see for yourself..........duh.....:wildone:

Then its probably fine then.......just making sure. I used to fry corals with high light and not feed enough to get pieces that would look fine, but wouldn't grow which is why I asked.
