Birds Nest help?!

I'm concerned for my Birds Nest. Until recently it was doing quit well. Now it's showing very small PE in a few areas. Only change happening is I've been slowly raising my Alk. Without dosing it was running at 7.6 and one 1 occasion it dropped to 6.7. Which made me decide to start dosing. Over the past 2wks I've raised it to 8.4. Using BRS Alk 2part.
Flow is moderately turbulent.
180w LED ramping 10min/8hrs 20/50% max.
Alk-8.4
Ca-450
Mag-1440
PH-8.2
Temp-78.5
PO4-0.02

That small of a alk change over that time will not cause trouble.

for the ramping are you saying your at 20%white/50% blue max?

Dont know about the light but I just raised my alk from 5.8 to 9 dKh over a month and my birdsnest looked great the whole time.

Thanks guys. This is the first SPS I've been able to keep alive for this length of time, 17wks! Lol
Yes, my whites were at 20% max and blues at 50% max. Just this weekend I upped the whites to 25% max and blues 55% max. Whites only run for 5hrs and blues for 8hrs. 10min ramping up/down. Any higher on the whites and my LPS begin to look washed out.
