I would like to add wrasses to my tank I have a 120 gallon tank with a lot of sand. Right now I have tangs in there and smaller fish. The only aggressive fish is the Powder Blue Tang and he only gets aggressive if you bite on rocks or glass.

I have seen some nice cheap prices of wrasses and was wondering what are the rule of thumb on reef safe wrasses?

Any thoughts comments of direction will be greatly appreciated.

IMO, try not to do the same colors, so much and put them in at the same time. Also, you may want to think about a acclimation box with the PB in the tank.

I've had the bug also. Hardest part is finding compatible wrasses / acclimation box has been a life saver for me. Def recommended

I would personally not try and do multiple of the same fairy wrasses. More than likely they will all turn into males, which may or may not work out. However, you can do single members from different species. Just research before you buy, as some are more aggressive than others. You also need a completely covered top, with 1/4" mesh being ideal.
