OK...my nitrates and phosphates are not measurable, and I stay up on my water changes, and my weekly tests are good, yet I cannot get rid of this black algae-like film that seems to grow over the face of some of my live rock. I blow it off and suck it out each evening...and it still returns...not as bad, mind you, but not eradicated.
Is there something I'm missing? lights? too much feeding of fish and coral? Is this a common mennace?
