It is possible but your two clownfish may be too big. The 4 inch one is female and the 2 inch one might be also. If they both are it most likely wont work.

i however have a mixed pair and it´s far more exicting then two of the same kind....P.S i assume you are talking about occelaris..
Right now they're all orange. I was told in the Fish Breeding Forum that they should not turn black until 6 - 8 months. Right now they're just over 100 days old, so I'm over half way there.
Very cool. Definitely keep us posted...I love reading about people's breeding success (I plan to raise the fry at some point should my pair ever start spawning...they're a bit small for it right now though.)
As long as they were both fairly young, you'd have a decent chance. For best chances of success, get one clown that is noticeably smaller than the other. This seems to make the process of asserting dominance faster and less violent.
