Black and white maxima question

Hey guys & gals, I recently got a black and white maxima and I was wondereing what par levels should i keep him at I know maximas are high light but how high? thanks!

We keep our Maximas successfully right under (2 feet from) or distanced (5 feet) from 400w metal halides.
