Black and white maxima

Hi all, I was wondering how rare a black and white maxima is if at all. I was considering buying it but would like to get an idea if the price is right. Seller claims it is rare, but I want your opinions against his. It's about 2 1/2 inches they want $60.00 At first it didn't impress me(color) but I kept getting drawed back to it. The color is nice on it, I just meant I'm used to seeing the other colors, not B&W.

I think it would pretty cool to have one, I like the bright colored ones myself, but someting different is appealing as well....

Thanks for your reply Scuba Dog. Like you, I'm drawn to the bright colored ones also, but for some reason I kept going back to this guy. I just don't know if it is " rare" as the seller say's. Not because I want to make money on it etc. I just don't want to get ripped off because of my ignorance

I would probally pick it up if I had the extra cash...my wife might complaine lol she is always wanting more red in the tank lol

a true black&white is quite impressive, too bad most of the ones sold as black are really just dark brown....
