black blobs on Zoas.

I got a frag of zoas and it has some black blobs on the stolon. Is this harmful?

You can pick it off if you want. Some people say that sponges have outcompeted their zoas... I haven't personally had that problem but I haven't had that much sponge on a zoa frag either!

I as-well agree with sponge. However, Don't stop with this conclusion because three have said it. Keep searching. Pull the rock from the tank, manually remove them, and swish the colonies in a separate bowl of tank water. A good pest dip wouldn't hurt while you have them out of your system. Good luck
