Black Clown Fish

Hi Guys

Black clown fish change color when they grow as adults?

LFS selling small clown fish they are blackish orange.

most of the time as they get older the orange will turn to all black, maybe a few spots of orange left.

Mine is now all black except the orange mouth. He's only about 2 inches right now.

How do they looks like when you bought from LFS

all B&W clowns I beleive come from the Darwin's strain.

I have never bought any but at the LFS I have seen them all black and white or all black and white with a few spots of orange. usually around the mouth. I beleive when they are born they look like a regular orange and white clown but develop the black very soon after. I could be wrong though.

I had a friend who had black clowns & took him a year & half or so to get the jet black on all the body
