What's up everyone. My first post on the forums and I wish it was good news!
My clownfish has been developing black spots exponentially in the recent days and I'm under the impression it could be some sort of ich. He tends to twitch and stir up the sand as if he's trying to get them off or hes itchy.
I've read that black spots could also be Hyper-Melanization, but I don't really have any corals who I've seen him rubbing up against that can sting him. My only culprit could be my frog spawn but I don't see him in it.
I've been dosing his pellets with Kanaplex by SeaChem but it doesn't seem to get it under control. Can anyone tell me if this diagnosis is correct and if there is another treatment I can try to help remove them? I don't have a QT available but can try to make one if it is my only option.
Me and my clown appreciate any advice! Thanks
