Black Ich

I recently spotted black ich on a few of my fish in my display tank. Being that black ich is just a type of flatworm, would flatworm exit eradicate them without even having to remove the fish?

Yeah i was also wondering if its reef safe as well, i woke up this morning with 4 spots of black ich on my yellow tang. I've heard mixed experiences on prazi being reef safe...

Prazi-Pro is reef safe; but will kill feather dusters and other worm-type critters. BTW, PP is distributed by Hikari and they have good tech support, phone # is on the bottle or their web site. I use (and plug) company tech support a lot . Its a great resource that we don't use often enough.

My yellow tang has internal parasites as well, im gonna run some prazi here pretty soon! Not to hijack this thread but does prazi make any dent on regular ich?

On ich I have tried putting metronidazole in the fishes food and to my suprise it cured every fish in the tank of and it did not come back. I'm not saying it will work in every case, but it worked extremely well in mine.

Just curious, how long has the ich been gone? Getting fish to eat medicated food isn't easy, discover any secrets?

This method doesn't really work well with fish that won't eat in the first place. But the fish that do eat, if I soak it in garlic it usually gets eaten pretty quickly. Most of my fish eat it without soaking the food.
