So three days ago I noticed my black clown didn't look quite right, the black on him wasn't popping and started to look whitish. Today I noticed him swimming funny and noticed one of his side fins are tattered and ripped, and his top fins same thing along with his skin getting worse. Today I quickly bought a hospital tank and set it up (have a 20gal qt with a tang in it right now. My tank is a 125 48x25x24. Have another clown with him since the beginning (6months). No aggression as my black clown is bigger and I believe the female. Water parameters are 11.8 alk. 430 cal, 1330 mag. 80* temp 1.026 salinity. 0 nitrite and ammonia. 1-2ppm nitrate.
Today I put him in hospital tank and dosed API Furan-2 first then later it was looking a lil worse so I decided to do freshwater dip for minute or so. Got him back in tank and added some melafix. I feed my fish NLS there A+ and reef frenzy. All fish are fat and healthy including him minus the problem. He still seems pretty active but not really eating.. I have selcon and garlic concentrate on the way (Wednesday) LFS said looks like bacteria infection just wanted as much info as possible... sorry for blurry pics he is still moving around pretty well
