Black Spot on my Yellow Tang

Hi, all. my yellow tang has black spot ich. what is the best way to treat? i have read that a freshwater dip will help or a formaldahyde bath, but how do you get rid of it in the tank. it does not appear that anyother fish have it but can they get it.
will continue reading up on it more but also value the opinion of other fish keepers who have been through it. the more info i can get the better i will feel.
