black spot on side of clown fish

There is a black spot on the side of my clown fish. Not sure what it is nad how to treat it. any help would be great thanks

it doesn't look raised. Hard to tell fish doesn't stop moving. If it is raised what is it and how would i fix it. There is only on spot.

many things can cause a darkening of the fish's pigment. usually hosting in zooanthids or certain types of anemones such as a mertens. a raised black spot is a parasite known as black ich. it is actually a worm. if it is just a black dot I would assume that is part of the fish's natural coloration

I have had the fish for about 2 weeks it didn't have the spot there until today?

one of my clowns developed a black spot on one of his fins when he started hosting a finger leather coral. after a few days it faded and disapeared.
