Black spots on Yellow Tang

I thought I had a case of marine Ich (Cryptocaryon Irritans) infecting my Regal Blue (Hippo) tang and my Yellow tang. Now I'm not sure. The spots have come and gone twice, both fish eating well, occasional scratching by the blue. The yellow has these small black spots and not white. When looking closely they are clearly attached to the surface and don't seem to be deep into the surface at all. Does this sound like marine ich or something else?

Thanks. I'm afraid to try anything until I'm sure what I'm dealing with. They seem to be getting along well.

Could be black ich - (not really ich at all, but a worm-like parasite) Here is a pic to compare.

Good news is that its easy to treat. Simply do a freshwater dip with temp/ph matched and the you should see the spots fall off.
A second or third dip might be necessary after a few days.
