Black Sun Polyps

With my experience I'd say it's the same as orange sun polyps. They need to be fed on a regular basis. I feed mine about three days per week.
I have orange yellow and black sun corals.

Yeah, I've had no trouble at all. In fact the colonies I have have dropped babies all over the tank.

Yeah, i'd have to agree, however pay attention to the black almost skin like slime the coral has growing on its skeletal structure. It should look full and be covering a greater majority of the structure if it is healthy. For food, i've used a blend of phyto, reef plus and trace, freeze dried cyclopeeze, coral vibrance, and then once they fully open and soak that up a bit, gently squirt some good quality brine or mini mysis into the heads. Not as frequent as the "liquid" feedings though. The "meat" part of the polyps can be overfed and outgrow the "shell" part. Hope this helps!
