anybody ever used marc weiss' blackpowder--if so, is it worth it or will it cause problems for a reef tank

i've heard anything with marc weiss in the name is snake oil. i don't know for sure cause i've stayed away from all his stuff. but i've heard.....

Hes a snake oil type of guy from what I heard to. fUNNY THOUGH That yall heard the same but at a lfs around here thay got a Marc Weiss poster that says This aint no snake oil.
