Blasto placement

I've had this blasto for about a year now an it hasn't really grown at all. It is starting to sprout another head (to make 3 :D ).

I have it in low flow and in the shade mostly. Should I put it down on the sand and in the light? Maybe it will grow faster/ do better?

What do you guys think?

I assume your talking about Welsi, not Merletti.

I have had one of my favorite blasto's crap the bed when I placed it in the sand in a higher flow area in a matter of days. They are so picky I would consider not only the fact that you have kept it a year but also it is growing a new head as a victory :)

I agree and share the same experience with a beautifull colony I had. Im also growing some babies and I contribute it to low-med light and the same for flow, I also recall someone saying that theres better success when mounted vertical as in a wall so to speak. Which just so happened to be my placement. Id say with these guys, if your popping babies definately dont fix it if it aint broke, definately my most sensitive LPS I have.
