Blasto Wellsi question

MY LFS had one of these that another coral fell on and stung. The rock originally had about 10 polyps on it and the ones in the middle died off from being stung. 3 polyps on one end survived. The guy at the LFS wasn't sure the rest would live so sold it to me for $10. Should I remove the skeletons from the rock to give the remaining polyps room to spread out or will they grow over them? Remove them all together and attach to a different rock?

Your guidance is appreciated!

IMO, I wouldn't try to remove the dead growth right now. I would definitely give the surving blastos chance to recuperate before cutting up. Low light, low flow and regular feedings until they have settled in. Good luck.

Garrett.
