I got a small blasto merletti as a free frag with an order. It's been on the bottom of my 24 inch deep tank for 3 days now and it is not opening. For two days it was in the light, then the guy I got it from said to shade it so it's now shaded under a gorg sea fan but still getting light. Am i being too nervous? Does it just need more time?

The first week after I got my rainbow caynane blastos they were closed up for the most part. They eventually acclimated and are doing fantastic. Mine love to eat. I use a small tuperware container and fill it slightly with water and let it sit on the water surface. Place the blastos in the container and focus feed them hardcore. They eat for a good hour. They seem to grow and duplicate the more I feed them. Good luck.

Flow isn't really high in my tank as I have a lot of LPS. I had it in a spot with more flow and light for about 2 days and nothing. Now I have it in a bit less light and less flow and nothing. Here's a picture ...
