Blastomussa growth

I have a couple of Blastomussa clusters and am trying to find an answer to how they spread. Back when I first purchased them, they seemed to have some room to spread on the small rock. At this time they have completely filled up the rock 'frag' and I was wondering what's next. Do they continue to spread by adding more skeleton to the rock and in effect increasing the size of the rock?? Or do they need another or a different rock to spread to?

Any help would be appreciated.

Is it B. wellsii that you have? They'll bud and grow a skeleton beneath their polyps, just as any other coral.

Yes...they are B. wellsii....at least according to the link they are. I have almost exact copies that are in the photo.

I've been able to contain the wildly spreading zoo's and star polyps by just giving them a rock frag on the substrate....away from my main rock. I was just wondering if the LPS (Blasto) would be contained in the same way. Or as my question said, would they continue to just add skeleton to the rock. My blasto's seem pretty cramped on that little piece of rock and I was hoping for them to keep going without my help.
