This grow of this Coral is wery copact . The light almost dont penetret insaid the colonie. After a fraging the base of Coral is white ant sometimes the polips at to sensitiv to strong light. Dey can get esey brned . As long the polips at out and the salige dasent spred you shud just leve it dath way. It wil ricover it self as it groves. Sory abaut my english. Is not perfect. But I hope you andrestand what I ment

Yes I understand what you have said. After taking a frag it is normal for it to look like that on this specific coral and over time it will look more normal. I am assuming more normal means no more white on the bottom.

If the polyps are out in the white areas the color should return. Also it can look like that when its disturbed, moved, or fragged. Give it some time, good flow, stable parameters and it should recover nicely.

Great thanks okay so it does not typically look like this. There is no polyps in the white psrt , guess it will just regrow down.

The entire base of my pocci colony is like that. If I gave you a frag of mine, it would be just like that. I can assure you its healthy because it grows too fast, LOL! No worries!
