Yeah that coral looks burnt to me also. Alk or maybe light. Have you added any alk supplement lately? What kind of lighting do you have and how high is the coral in the tank? What lighting was it under when you go it? There is no PE and it looks a little brown but hard to tell.

what are your phosphates? your parameters are all a tiny bit off. I bet you can just do a few water changes over the course of a few days with quality salt and get them all where they need to be. I would definitely lower the alk and raise the mag and you should start to see improvements. Answer the lighting questions from allsps40 as well mabe that can be more of a help. I cant really tell from the pics either.

Have you added any alk supplement lately?
I will add a 1/4 of a tsp of reefbuffer to raise my pH. I know this also raises my alk. So I just started trying a new method of mixing salt without a lid so oxygen can properly mix in and pH levels will hopefully be good from the get go.

What kind of lighting do you have and how high is the coral in the tank?
We have a Nova Extreme 18" T5 HO one 10K and one atinic. The coral is about 8"-10" way from the lights.

What lighting was it under when you go it?
It was under halides at the store. I got it on 11/2/10 so it has been 10 days. I acclimated it to the my lights by having the frag on the sandbed for a couple of days. and since its an sps, i put it up on a rock as you saw 4" higher than the sandbed. That is where it currently is (8"-10" from lights).

here are some more pics that might help you guys out. And thanks for the replies
