bleaching acropora

I have a acropora and it is bleaching but polypus is alive !!!
She has little blurred color at base and the rest is white !!!
whiles it is alive there is imposible to accession the color or zooxanthellae ? Must i do something to help ?

is it a new coral to the tank? You may have shocked it with your acclimation, or lighting. I would lower it in my tank, and wait till it colours back up, and then move it up slowly. Sounds like it should be fine though.

the acropora there was bleaching when purchase it and only polypus there was ok!!!the aquariums in the store has not good light thereupon aropora after few days bleaching .Acropora has colorless almost white!!!

After five days in mine aquarium it looks like has litle color !!!

what lighting and size of tank do you have, if you have metal halide lighting and you know it's better than your LFS tanks then keep it lower under you lighting for the first week and then move it up a little, it could bleach all the way and die but if you say you are seeing some color in it now just keep doing what your doing it may survive and fully recover.

Dont buy them bleached in the first place FRAKTO....u know that...it only supports that store selling bleached coral..
