I have a 1' long cowfish, and he currently lives in a 215 gallon fish tank. I have him with clownfish and anemone, flame hawkfish, powder blue tang, pajama fish, and a toby puffer. I love my lawnmower blenny, but I had to take him out of the big tank and put him in a 46 bow front because he seems to like to suck on my cowfish. he leaves "kiss"marks on him just like he does the algae on the tank. I would love to try another blenny in the tank since he did a wonderful job with the algae, but dont want to risk my cowfish getting picked on! HE'S MY BABY!! its not easy to remove 150 - 200lbs of live rock from a 215 gallon aquarium to get a fish out, so i would rather not risk it again. does anyone have advice about this?
I like midas blenny they are very good looking not aggressive at all but lawnmower blenny eats 10 time more algae than midas but they look way better than lawnmower
