I was checking stuff in a QT and noticed some nudi's, so I went and REDIPPED everything again, and on these zoanthus, I noticed these blobs on some of the polyps. Anybody have a clue what they are?

I went to inspect them with my tweezers and they would pop.

from what i have noticed, it happens to my zoanthids and more apparent palythoas after a freshwater dip. i don't think it is anything to be concerned with since all of my zoanthids and palythoas fully recover (loses the bubbly look) after a couple of days. i do notice a loss of color, but that recovers after about a month...good luck on battling the nudis.

It was prior to the 2nd dip, its been roughly 1.5 weeks since the first dip, didnt notice the blisters until I pulled them out to dip last night cause I saw nudi's on another rock in the tank. All nudi's and eggs are gone now! Th nudis that were on the rock dont appear to have been eating them, more like just annoying them. Everything else that was dipped from that tank didnt have nudi's on it though.

dipping wont remove or kill the eggs...they have to be physically removed...scrap them off or pull them off with flat tweezers..

The first pic looks like water on the polyps. Every colony of palys that I have ever dipped looks like that. It can be a bit deceiving as it looks like gel. Put on some reef safe gloves and touch it, or use a tooth pick and swab it, it should fall right off. If I'm wrong, I stand corrected, but it sure looks like water to me.
