I have these three fish in a quarantine tank together. They have been in quarantine for two weeks now and they are starting to scratch on the rocks (all three). There are no other signs like white spots as usual but I am starting to think it is inevitable. What do you think is the best course of treatment?

I should also mention that they act a little eratic and twitch quite a bit. The Blue Face Angel also has one eye that is slightly cloudy.

Sounds like flukes. Perform a FW dip for about 4 minutes to see if any flukes come off. If you see flukes then treat with prazipro. If you see the eye getting cloudy move quickly.

Take a look at this thrd with picture of flukes and follow the link below the picture for more info on flukes.

I would skip the FW dip and just treat with the Prazi since they are already in a QT. If things don't improve add Cupramine and keep it in for 14 days after the second dosage( fisrt dosage and then another 48 hors later). Also remove some of the rock, if not all of it, and replace with some PVC big enough for the fish to use as shelter. Or just as a precaution you can just use both right now. Prazi is pretty much the only other medication you can use with Cupramine. Watch Ammonia in the QT during use. I use Seachem Stability during use to keep the good bacteria in the tank. Good Luck.

I did the first dose of prazzi this morning. It says to wait at least three days for the second dose. I still see some spots on the fish that look like ich. I am going to add cupramine now and leave it in for 14 days as you recommended. That you for your help and if you have any more suggestions please let me know. Ian

Cupramine by itself is effective in killing flukes.
Most people don't go directly for cupramine if they only have fluke problems because copper is the harshest treatment for fish. For ich, however, cupramine is my number 1 choice with hypo being a distant second.
