picked up a blue gig today at a lfs this was reportedly dropped off by someone locally because it was wandering around the tank and messing with their coral. no worries... i have a nice place for it. lol

i am seriously amazed at how sticky it is!!! i thought my other large gig was sticky.

it is big! haven't seen it fully expanded, but it is larger then either of my other gigs by far...

here is a quick pic of it immediately after putting it into qt. it even stayed inflated for the entire time in the bag.

jordan, yes, i feel blessed to have a few nice gigs

updated pics from this morning. it looks pretty good, imo. i have not seen it deflate yet, and it is amazingly sticky! the mouth is gaped open maybe 1/4 - 3/8" though. i will leave it in qt for a week and observe. thoughts?

wondering how the colors will look down the road... do you think the white is bleached and will turn blue later?

Nice! That guy looks great! Exactly how mine and Pete's looked when we first got ours. It's colors, I would guess, will look exactly like them when it colors up.

the mouth is gaping some, has expelled a few tan colored pellets, foot is a little puffy, but overall the gig is staying inflated. i have been performing a 50% wc every evening with cipro medicated water.

i finally placed the new blue gig into the dt. it has been staying inflated, and looking good, imo.

i'll post better pics once my camera battery recharges.
